Kyrovane and TikTok Shop

This is a draft. It describes accurately what the software does with data and money. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer, and nothing here should be read as a claim that Kyrovane is compliant with the law of any particular country until that review has happened.
Independent, and official APIs only
Kyrovane is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a partner of TikTok or ByteDance, and it does not claim any TikTok partner status. TikTok and TikTok Shop are trademarks of their owners.
Kyrovane talks to TikTok Shop only through TikTok’s official Open API, with the permissions a shop’s owner grants. It never scrapes TikTok, never asks for or stores a TikTok password, and never works around a TikTok limit or review.
Connecting a shop
The shop’s owner signs in on TikTok’s own page and approves the permissions listed there; Kyrovane then receives a token for that shop and that market. The token is encrypted where it is stored, is used only for that brand’s shop, and is never shown in the browser or written to a log. Disconnecting in Kyrovane deletes it and stops every scheduled sync; the owner can also revoke Kyrovane on TikTok’s side at any time.
What Kyrovane reads and writes
- Reads, with the seller’s approval: the shop’s details, products, orders and the affiliate data TikTok makes available to it, to show sales, commissions and creator performance.
- Writes only what a person in your team asked for, through TikTok’s own endpoints: for example a collaboration invitation or a message to a creator, each subject to your workspace’s approvals and limits.
- Buyers’ personal details are not stored: Kyrovane keeps amounts, currencies, products and attribution from orders, not names or addresses.
What needs TikTok’s approval
Some TikTok Shop capabilities, such as creator search and affiliate messaging, need TikTok to approve the app that uses them, and some differ by market. Kyrovane is built for 18 TikTok Shop markets; a capability is shown as available only where its approval has been granted and a real request has worked. Everywhere else the product says it is pending TikTok’s approval and offers the manual way round, rather than showing an empty result as if TikTok had answered.
Your responsibilities
Sellers and agencies remain bound by TikTok Shop’s own terms and policies, including its affiliate and messaging rules. Kyrovane’s acceptable use policy and outreach policy add to them, never replace them. If TikTok changes or withdraws an API, Kyrovane will say what that changes, and some features may stop working until it can be done another approved way.
